The current technologies driven industrial sector is witnessing such a phenomenal growth which has not been observed since independence. The present scenario clearly demands a young generation of professionally skilled young persons who, besides having a technological edge over others, have progressive mindset to accept new challenges and to compete for positions requiring leadership qualities. While laying the foundation of College of Advanced Technology I had a vision to establish this institute as a premier source of technical education and training with quality and global perspective as its bench marks. It is immensely satisfying to witness the rapid pace of growth, both in terms of infrastructure and academics within an astonishing short span of time.

The College Of Advanced Technology takes cognizance of both the aforesaid current technological needs as well as future needs of the diverse and complex evergrowing industrial sector and for achieving there objectives, a broad-based approach is being adopted which essentially includes regular and meaningful interaction with industries, up-gradation of education and training modules and exposing our students to a varied spectrum of mind-stimulating and broadening academic experiences. With a dedicated experienced and dynamic team of faculty, who believe in giving their 100% and eliciting the best possible responses from their students I am confident that the College of Advanced Technology would evolve as the best institution for technical education and training in the entire state.

वर्तमान में संचालित तकनीकी एवं औद्योगिक क्षेत्र में एक ऐसा अपूर्व विकास दिखाई देता है जैसा स्वतंत्रता प्राप्ति (1947) के बाद से परिलक्षित नहीं हुआ। आधुनिक संदर्श की स्पश्ट माँग है–व्यवसायिक रूप से कुशल एक नवीन पीढ़ी की जो तकनीकी निपुणता के साथ–साथ एक प्रगतिशील मन:स्थिति की स्वामिनी हो और ऐसी स्थितियों व पदों हेतु प्रतिस्पर्धा कर सके जिनमें नेतृत्व जैसे विरल गुण हों। कॉलेज आफ एडवांस्ड टेकनोलॉजी की नींव रखते हुए मेरे मानस क्षितिज पर एक ऐसा संस्थान स्थापित करना अंकित था जो तकनीकी शिक्षा एवं प्रशिक्षण का एक उत्कृष्ट उद्गम हो जिसमें बैंचमार्क के रूप में उत्तम गुणवत्ता व वैश्विक परिपेक्ष्य का समोवश हो। यह देखकर बड़ा ही मानसिक संतोष होता है कि अल्प अवधि में ही इस संस्थान ने दोनों स्तरों, आधारिक संरचना एवं आकदमीय स्तरों पर, तेजी से प्रगति की है।

निरंतर विकासशील औद्योगिक क्षेत्र में कॉलेज आफ एडवांस्ड टेक्नोलॉजी ने उपरोक्त व भावी पीढी की विविध व जटिल तकनीकी आवश्यकताओं को संज्ञान में लिया है और इन उद्देश्यों की पूर्ति हेतु एक ब्रोड एप्रोच अपनायी गई है जिसमें आवश्यक रूप से सम्मिलित हैं विभिन्न उद्योगों के साथ नियमित एवं अर्थपूर्ण समानान्तर शैक्षिक तथा प्रशैक्षिक मोड्यूलों का उन्नयन एवं संस्थान के छात्र–छात्राओं को विभिन्न व एच्छिक अकादमीय अनुभवों से समृद्ध कराना जो उनके मानसिक उद्दीपन व विस्तारण में सहायक हो। समर्पित अनुभवी एवं सक्रिय संकाय सदस्यों ; जो अपना शत प्रतिशत योगदान प्रदान करने और अपने छात्रों से सर्वोत्तम सम्भव प्रतिक्रिया प्राप्त करने में विश्वास करते हैं, मैं आश्वस्त हूँ कि कॉलेज आॅफ एडवांस्ड टेकनोलॉजी राज्य में तकनीकी शिक्षा एवं प्रशिक्षण के सर्वोत्कृष्ट संस्थान के रूप में शीघ्र ही विकसित होगा।
